Assembly requirements (of the reducer):
1. Parts cleaning: Use gasoline for rolling bearings, kerosene for others. Paint the inside and outside of the box. Apply oil to the mating surfaces of the parts.
2. Installation and adjustment: The inner ring of the rolling bearing is closely attached to the shaft shoulder. The axial clearance of the bearing is in accordance with the regulations. The tooth side clearance of the gear (worm gear) can be measured by using a feeler gauge or the lead press method. There are requirements for the tooth surface contact with spots.
3. Sealing: No gasket is needed for the split surface of the box body but sealant can be applied. Check with a feeler gauge before tightening the bolts. Apply grease to the shaft extension seal.
4. Lubrication: Determine the type and brand of oil and grease. The filling amount of grease is 1/2 – 2/3 of the greaseable space. The lubricating oil should be replaced regularly.
5. Test: Run no-load at the rated speed in both forward and reverse directions for 1 – 2 hours. Conduct the load test until the oil temperature is balanced. There are requirements for temperature rise and operation.
6. Packaging and transportation: Apply oil for packaging to the overhanging shafts and their accessories. Pay attention to matters during handling and lifting.
7. Technology: Clean the parts without debris. Inspect the side clearance and contact spots. Adjust the axial clearance of the bearings. Check the seal and the filling height of the oil.
